Emerald Island Resort Guest FAQ
Planning a stay in an Emerald Island vacation home? These answers explain what to check before booking, how to prepare for arrival and where to get help. Your reservation documents contain the arrangements for your particular home.
How do I arrange entry to the resort?
Read the arrival instructions sent for your reservation and complete any requested guest and vehicle registration before travelling. Resort entry and access to your rental home are separate steps, so keep both sets of instructions handy. If anything is missing, contact the reservations team before you set off.
Where can we park?
The resort publishes a limit of six cars per home per day. That does not mean every driveway accommodates six vehicles. Check the parking arrangement for your home, use permitted spaces and keep pavements, junctions and access routes clear. Street-parking arrangements differ by month; follow the current official resort parking guidance and signs during your stay.
What time can we check in and out?
Use the times stated in your booking confirmation and arrival information. If you need an earlier arrival or later departure, ask the team before making plans around it. Do not assume a request has been approved until you receive confirmation.
Does every home have a private pool or games room?
No single set of features applies to every rental. Review the photographs, bedroom arrangements and amenities listed for the specific home you choose. A community pool shown in resort photographs is separate from a private pool at a rental property. Our amenities guide explains the shared facilities.
Is private pool heating included?
Check your chosen home and booking details for whether pool heating is offered, whether it carries an additional charge and how to request it. If the home has a connected spa, ask how its heating works too. Confirm these details before arrival rather than assuming heating is included.
Can friends visit us during our stay?
The resort asks guests to notify their host in advance about daytime visitors so approved visitors can be added to the entry list. Contact the team handling your booking before inviting anyone. Resort entry arrangements do not change the occupancy conditions for your home.
Is there a resort shuttle to the theme parks?
The resort’s guest information says it does not provide a specific or endorsed transport service. It permits rideshare pickups and drop-offs. Arrange your transport separately and check the pickup details, capacity and any child-seat needs with your provider. Our Disney journey guide helps you plan the trip from Emerald Island.
Can we bring a pet?
Check the individual rental’s rules before booking with a pet. Resort guidance about leashes and pet waste does not establish whether an individual home accepts pets. Contact the reservations team about the home you are considering.
Who helps with a problem during our stay?
For an issue inside your rental, use the contact instructions supplied with your reservation. For questions about communal facilities, contact the Emerald Island clubhouse on 407-787-3965. Florida Vacation Homes does not operate the shared resort amenities.
Who operates this website?
Emerald Island Vacation Homes is a website of Florida Vacation Homes, an independent vacation rental business. Read about the team and this website or call 863-887-7580 for accommodation enquiries.
