FIND YOUR FAMILY’S FIT
Choosing an Emerald Island Vacation Home
A bedroom count is a useful starting point, but it does not tell you whether a home suits your group. Before booking an Emerald Island stay, compare the sleeping arrangement, bathroom layout and spaces you will use together. The best choice is the home that fits your actual plans.
Start with people, then bedrooms
Write down who needs a private room, who can share and whether anyone needs to sleep close to young children. Then compare that list with the individual home’s bed sizes and maximum occupancy. Two homes with the same bedroom count can have very different arrangements.
- One family: decide whether children will share and whether an extra room would make bedtime easier.
- Two families: compare the number of adult bedrooms and bathrooms, as well as where the children’s rooms are located.
- A multigenerational group: check stairs, bathroom access and the distance between bedrooms and shared living areas.
Do not infer step-free access from a photograph or the presence of a downstairs bedroom. Ask our team to confirm specific access requirements before reserving.
Compare the spaces beyond the bedrooms
Look at dining seats, lounge seating and outdoor furniture. If everyone hopes to eat together, count usable dining places rather than assuming the maximum occupancy guarantees one large table. For a group that plans separate outings, more than one place to relax may matter more than an extra entertainment feature.
Read the private-pool details
Check the property’s own description for pool features, safety arrangements and whether a spa is listed. Confirm pool-heating availability and charges for your dates; do not assume it is included. A pool fence or alarm does not replace adult supervision. Our guest FAQ explains the questions to ask before arrival.
Match the home to your holiday
For early theme-park starts, prioritize a comfortable sleeping layout and an easy breakfast routine. For a slower break, look more closely at the pool area, seating and games facilities actually shown in the listing. Resort facilities and private-home amenities are different: use the Emerald Island amenities guide alongside the individual property details.
Check the full stay before you book
- Confirm the guest count and dates for the home you are considering.
- Read the total quoted price and optional extras, including pool heat if requested.
- Review the cancellation terms attached to that reservation.
- Check arrival, parking and vehicle-registration instructions for your group.
- Ask about essential equipment rather than relying on a generic resort description.
